FAQ: FAQ

How does the subscription plan work?

You choose how many lessons you'd like to have per month (2, 3, or 4), your card will be automatically charged on the same day each month, you get access to my online calendar and can book your lessons at your convenience. After the 3 month minimum commitment, you are able to cancel your subscription at any time. Think of it like your Netflix subscription!

Where do you teach and how are your lessons structured?

All of my lessons are online via Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime. I'll call you at the starting time of your lesson. Please be online and ready to begin on time. We'll spend the first 30 minutes warming up and the last 30 minutes working on repertoire.

How do I schedule and pay for my lessons?

Scheduling and payment are through Acuity. When you sign up for lessons using the links on the "Sign up for lessons" page, it'll take you to Acuity where you'll set up an account, input your credit card information, and get access to my scheduling calendar. If you're signing up for one of my subscription plans, you can schedule your lessons for the month at your convenience.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you would like to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must do so at least 24 hours before your lesson time. Unused lessons from your subscription plan do not roll over to the following month.

Do I need to have piano tracks?

You can either sing a cappella, sing to a piano track (there are many available on YouTube or I can connect you with a pianist who can record tracks for you), or if COVID regulations permit you may have a pianist present with you.

What style of music do you specialize in?

I specialize in classical voice/opera, musical theatre, and pop, but have taught singers in many styles including jazz, folk, and choral, and in Italian, German, English, French, and Spanish.
